Jaime Reed

As Associate Director of Development and Communications for Turnaround Arts California, Jaime helps grow and nurture the community of supporters who help make the organization’s work possible. She also leads TACA’s communications efforts, sharing the stories of how the arts are transforming schools and inspiring students across the state. A natural collaborator and passionate advocate for the arts, Jaime brings more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, working with organizations that champion creativity, equity, and social justice. Her background spans nonprofit management, fundraising, board governance, events, volunteer engagement, financial management, and storytelling through marketing and communications. Before joining Turnaround Arts California, Jaime worked with A Window Between Worlds, where she supported programs using art to help individuals and communities heal from trauma. She has also contributed to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Just Communities Central Coast. Jaime earned her BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the University of California, Davis, and her MA in Nonprofit Management from Antioch University Los Angeles.
